The Battle of East-Loren - Turn 14

Dwarfs - Turn 14

Again, Burlok "The Wise" does nothing to regain magical energy.

The thunderers will try to benefit from their numerical advantage by having more figthers in hand-to-hand combat.


 
The clansmen are trudging to reach the archers.


Sirwing Feathermoon and his war eagle find themselves targeted by the crossbowmen, the bolt thrower and the skirmishing crossbowmen!

The war machine misses. The crossbowmen inflict one wound to the Elven hero and one to the war eagle. The beast is still flying but it is seriously wounded.


And the skirmishing crossbowmen inflict one wound to Sirwing Feathermoon.


In the eternal fight between the Elven general and the Norse Dwarfs, the Dwarfs sustain two more casualties without being able to wound Sirwendil Silverhead.


In the centre of the battlefield, Valmor Longstride kills one hammerer, Filendil Ravencrest misses, and the warrior kinbands kill three hammerers! Slower thant their opponents, the Dwarfs fight back: Durak "The Hammer" kills Amriel Silvermoon, the kinbands' hero, Morgrim Tryggson kills a warrior, and the hammerers inflict one wound to Filendil Ravencrest:


In their fight, the thunderers take the advantage by killing the glade runners' champion:


Finally, the active Dust Storm makes another victim:






Wood Elves - Turn 14

Sirwing Feathermoon dives to attack the crossbowmen who wounded him:


The archers shoot and kill one (only) of the organ gun crewmen:



And the guards led by Skarloc kill one (only) of the clansmen:


Again, Sirwendil Silverhead harvests two Dwarf warriors and remains safe.


Against the hammerers, Filendil Ravencrest kills another elite Dwarf. Valmor Longstride also. The Dwarf riposte is bloody: three warrior kinbands are killed, including the standard bearer, leaving only one left alive.


Sirwing Feathermoon passes over the crossbowmen and kills two of them, a third one is killed by his fellow mount:


The thunderers slay two glade runners:


And the surviving Elves are completely surrounded:
 

Imraina Moonhand casts successfully a Mystic Mist on the bolt thrower, providing relief to Sirwing Feathermoon for some time:


And the Elven wizard also moves the Dust Storm to follow the clansmen:
